Shannon Logeman

Shannon was born in Nashville, Tennessee and grew up in the South. She became a working film, television and stage actress in high school and went on to attend the University of Texas in Austin. She then moved to Los Angeles where she appeared in series such as “Lassie”, “Charles In Charge”, “Murder She Wrote”, “In The Heat Of The Night” among others. Shannon went on to be a singer/songwriter, composing songs and performing with various L.A. musicians. Her collaboration with European songwriter/producer Marc Vanhie led to a two album publishing deal with EMI Records. This set her on a path away from performing to writing and then production. Her production background includes working in development and production at Al Burton Productions (Universal), Antares Productions (Universal), and at Hearst Entertainment where she was music coordinator for the television special “Popeye’s Voyage”. Shannon works regularly with a group of independent filmmakers. Her most recent project is a documentary titled “Musical Minds”, which explores the creative process of musical composition through a series of interviews with successful writers, artists and cognitive experts.
